![]() ![]() Thanks, I only got 2 replies, neither of which said much. Well, I guess this is victory, at least for now. (Donkey Kong was a NIGHTMARE to try and test. The music sounds pretty bad, even at the highest setting, certain effects look really weird (such as the iris-in effect at the end of a level in SMW or the ship flying around in Metroid) and lag is a massive problem on the more graphics-heavy games. In long, there are a huge number of flaws which don't render games unplayable, but can be a pain to put up with. Nothing was invisible, so everything is totally playable. I could see Iggy in SMW and the map in Zelda. All my test games worked flawlessly.as far as playability goes. So, if anyone can figure out what's wrong with 9xTYL, that works too.ĮDIT2: Guess what? I got 9xTYL working. No files or programs, just more locations. I could look in them, but the only things I could see were sub-directories. How's the program supposed to know where to look for the files? You can't tell me it just looks everywhere! That's insane!Įven so, I put files wherever and hoped for the best. The readme says "You can put the rom files anywhere you want." Well, that's a load of crap. Simple, right? This one doesn't have a folder like that. Most emulators come with a "ROMS" folder, in which, I should put ROMS. Step 1: Turn on your Sony PSP and wait for it to boot into the PSP menu, often. I almost didn't mention it because I can't get games to play. If your game data corrupted, you can manually fix it and restore the game data. Apparently, ZSNES was programmed in a code that can't be read by PSP, and would be incredibly hard to re-program to the PSP's capabilities.ĮDIT: I have found ONE other emulator that does something besides give me an error or corrupted data. Last edited on 06:24:00 AM by alexnobody Medic And I got depressed, because I thought, Damn. NOW can someone tell me what the problem is? The only real problem was that some levels were a little laggy. The same room stayed blank (this time with a RED gradient effect) and I couldn't proceed.ĭonkey Kong Country: Remarkably, nothing ever went blank. I was still able to get to the next screen by fumbling around blindly, and from there, everything worked until I had to go back the way I came. From what I remember, the main title screen didn't show up, part of the opening sequence was a black void, and the first screen I was on was nothing but a blue gradient effect. Super Metroid: This one had a lot of problems, and I might have forgotten some. Everything worked except the main overworld map. Zelda ALTTP: I played up to the first dungeon boss. Please, if anyone thinks they know what the problem is, don't hesitate to speak up!ĮDIT: I have tried out a few more games to gather more data. ![]() The fact that I am posting again means that a full day has passed. ![]()
